sayu Platform Privacy Notice

This page describes what data we collect when you use sayu and how we keep that information protected. We handle your personal data with care: we collect only what is necessary to verify your identity, process payments, manage tournaments, and comply with anti-money-laundering regulations. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it beyond what is required by law or our payment processors.

We at sayu respect your privacy. When you create an account, deposit funds, enter a tournament, or withdraw winnings, you provide us with personal information. We explain in this notice what we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have regarding your data. If you have questions about your privacy on sayu, our support team is available during business hours to help.

Our approach is transparent: no hidden data practices, no unexpected sharing with advertisers, and no complex legal language designed to obscure our practices. We spell out who we are, what we do with your data, and how you can exercise your rights. By using sayu, you agree to the practices described here.

What data we collect

We collect data in three categories: information you provide directly, payment data, and technical usage data. When you create a sayu account, we ask for your email address, password, phone number, and full name. These are required to set up your account and send you notifications.

To enter tournaments, access our sportsbook, or withdraw funds, we require identity verification. We ask for a copy of your national ID, passport, or driver's license, and proof of residence (utility bill, bank statement, or rental agreement). We collect this data to verify you are who you say you are and to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations in jurisdictions where we operate—including Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and Semarang.

When you make a deposit or withdrawal, our payment processors (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet) collect transaction data: the amount, date, time, and payment method. We receive a record of these transactions but do not store your full payment details (for example, we do not store your full bank account number or complete card number). Payment processors keep their own copies of this data according to their privacy policies.

Our servers collect technical data automatically: your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit on sayu. We use this data to detect fraud, prevent unauthorized access, and improve our platform performance. We do not use this data for marketing or profiling.

Identity verification is required: We collect your ID and proof of residence to comply with anti-money-laundering law. Without this data, we cannot allow withdrawals or tournament entry.

How we use your data

We use your email and phone number to communicate with you about your account, send tournament notifications, and provide customer support. We do not use your contact information for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

We use your identity documents to verify you are legally eligible to use sayu and to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations. Once verified, we retain these documents for the duration of your account and for a period thereafter as required by law.

We use payment data to process your deposits and withdrawals, maintain your account balance, and settle tournament payouts. We share transaction records with our payment processors and, if required, with financial authorities investigating fraud or money-laundering.

We use technical data (IP address, browser type, device) to detect fraud, prevent unauthorized account access, and improve our platform. We do not use this data to build marketing profiles or to sell to advertisers.

Third-party processors and data sharing

We share your data with the following third parties, each of whom has a legitimate business purpose: payment processors (mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, and your bank) to process deposits and withdrawals; game developers to settle tournament payouts and track your tournament history; identity verification services to confirm your ID and residence documents; and hosting providers to store our platform and databases.

We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies. We share data only when required by law (for example, financial authorities investigating fraud) or to fulfill our business obligations (for example, payment processors need your transaction details to transfer funds).

Our servers and databases may be located outside Indonesia. When your data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, it remains subject to this privacy notice and applicable data-protection law. We use encryption and secure transfer protocols to protect data in transit.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data (email, name, phone, payment history) for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as required by anti-money-laundering regulations—typically 5–7 years after account closure.

We keep identity documents (ID, proof of residence) for the duration of your account and for 5–7 years after closure to comply with financial-compliance regulations.

We keep technical data (IP logs, login records) for up to 12 months to detect fraud and security issues. We delete older technical data regularly.

We retain your data as required by law, not for marketing

Identity and payment data are kept for 5–7 years after account closure to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations. Technical data is deleted after 12 months.
